Update from my Berlin Trip and Peace to you.

Dear Friends,

Greetings with hope that this will find you well.
I want to sincerely apologize for my silence but I want you to know that you and our group here has been in my mind and heart.

2 weeks ago,I was privileged to join brothers and sisters across the world in Berlin,Germany for this year's International Interdependence conference.Indeed I was humbled by the commitment and passion Participants showed towards a better and united world through the spirit of Interdependence, this way I was re-assured of our commitment as a generation to ensuring that we pass on a better world full of Peace,co-existence,respect ,love, united and Prosperous to the next generation.

We discussed about Peace,an interdependent world,talents enhancement,climate change,cultures and arts,political issues.

In my sight seeing tour of Berlin,I was eager to see the marks of Berlin wall and upon seeing it,I was really re-assure right deep in my heart that if the people of west and East Germany were able to break down the walls of division and hug each other with love, indeed we can also overcome what divides us in terms of culture, religion, color, etc and embrace each other to make a better world.

In our own capacity we can help each other to realize our full potential and as I was thinking about this,I re-called one of my late grandpa's favorite story about the Lion and the Mouse.

Once when a Lion was asleep a little Mouse began running up
and down upon him; this soon wakened the Lion, who placed his huge
paw upon him, and opened his big jaws to swallow him. "Pardon, O
King," cried the little Mouse: "forgive me this time, I shall
never forget it: who knows but what I may be able to do you a turn
some of these days?" The Lion was so tickled at the idea of the
Mouse being able to help him, that he lifted up his paw and let
him go. Some time after the Lion was caught in a trap, and the
hunters who desired to carry him alive to the King, tied him to a
tree while they went in search of a waggon to carry him on. Just
then the little Mouse happened to pass by, and seeing the sad
plight in which the Lion was, went up to him and soon gnawed away
the ropes that bound the King of the Beasts. "Was I not right?"
said the little Mouse.
Indeed Little friends may prove great friends. And that is why we should never overlook each other because everyone in the world is important to us.

My sincere love and Peace to you all as I urge all of you to add more people to join with us in Stitching this world together.

Thanks,

Jared Akama Ondieki
