WHY JESUS CHRIST, NABI MUHAMMAD AND GAUTAMA BUDDHA DID NOT START RELIGION DURING THEIR LIFE TIME?

WHY NONE OF THE BIG 3 RELIGIONS STARTED DURING THEIR PROPHETS LIFE TIME? IS IT CO-INCIDENT?
ARE THE PROPHETS CHRISTIAN,MUSLIM OR BUDDHIST RESPECTIVELY?
IF THERE ARE NO HOLY BIBLE,NO HOLY QURAN AND BUDDHIST SCRIPTURE THEN WHAT THEIR FOLLOWERS BASE ON THEN TO BECAME A CHRISTIAN, MUSLIM AND BUDDHIST? WAS IT MORE PEACEFUL THEN?
WHY WHEN RELIGIONS PREACHES LOVE AND CARING FOR EACH OTHERS BUT END UP NOT ONLY SPLITING WITHIN THEMSELVES AND RIVAL WITH OTHER RELIGIONS?
PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME BROTHER AND SISTER..PARDON MY GRAMMER AND SPELLING MISTAKE...PEACE AND LOVE

Ricky,
Yes, means I affirm what John Lennon was saying, your posting it, and that I was to busy to give a lengthy and thoughtful reply. These are words that require contemplation and obedience to the directive "Imagine". It is in this imaginal process that we plum the depth of the possibilities for our future. This is the real power of this song and of the Peace Next network — that we can Imagine together. It is only out of this collective Imaginal process that we can unfold a brighter future for humanity.

LIKE TO SHARE THIS SONG BY JOHN LENON TO ALL MY BROTHER AND SISTER WITH LOVE AND PEACE....

Imagine there's no Heaven ... it's easy if you try
No hell below us ... above us only sky
Imagine all the people ... living for today

Imagine there's no countries ... it isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for ... and no religion too
Imagine all the people ... living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions ... I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger ... a brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people ... sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

BREAK

Imagine all the people ... sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

The aim of each of these great souls was to be a Blessing to Humanity and to teach us to be a Blessing to each other. Yet over and over again humanity has used religion to Erect boundaries and create divisions that foster suffering. If we can see that the underlying value that is common to all Spiritual teaching is the desire to be a Blessing to all beings and to the earth then we may find hope yet. By living as a blessing to all we automatically fulfill the requirements of all true religions. Imagine what kind of world we may have if all political, economic, social, and religious policy were based on the core value of being a Blessing to ALL. How might your life be different?

There is the practical and spiritual side to religions. On the practical side all religions preaches the same goodness and practice of way of life. However the spiritial side defers even though they share the common place of heaven and hell. Maybe different philosophies apply to different groups. But one thing is clear. There is someone SUPREME above all. Even in anyone faith, differences exists in interpretations amongst their leaders. Which means humans are the ones the make the difference be it good or bad. Looks like the dark forces are stronger in humans.

Then why is the Supreme being not taking action ? Or why take this action that we witness so much of religious rivalry ? Maybe the Supreme being has acted for us to witness and face today's consequiences.

Ricky has raised an interesting and important question. All divine great souls had boundless perception and gave their message of love, peace and spiritual upliftment by leading an exemplary life; they did not found any religion but showed the noble way of living. Their followers who initiated the religious traditions lacked that kind of perception and vision; the traditions imposed restrictions that compartmentalized the civilization. Boundaries were drawn and the humanity was divided promoting hatred rather than love. Eventually self interest took over common good. This is against the very will of the great souls. Our true dedication to them would be to relax these boundaries of pride and prejudice, letting love, and not hatred, flow across the humanity, bringing peace and harmony on this planet.

The problem is that we have not understood the meaning of the word "religion" . We have institutionalized religions, so instead of binding us together, each religion binds us to an institution. love n blsgs

Let me give my humorous take on this;

Jesus, Muhammad, Moses, Krishna, Buddha, Mahavir, Nanak, Bahaullah, Zarathustra and others did not round up each one of us and said, you belong to my ranch, let me stamp you with a burning mark on your back to claim you to my group. SHHH and they marked us as Zoroastrians, Bahai, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist, Hindu, Jews, Muslims and Christians.

Their message was for the people they were addressing who were representation of the world to them at that time, it is is like the World Parliament - 7 billion people did not attend the event, 8000 did, and that was our universe.

Now that we have some 250 traditions, each one doing good to the beleivers, the question wherther they created religion or not, does not matter much. It is here and we have to respect each tradition and figure out how to have least conflicts.
