Youth Society for Peace (YSP) Nepal is planning to celebrate Day of Prayer and Action for Children (DPAC) 2011 with various program under the holistic guidance of Dr Chintamani Yogi the founder of Peace Service Centre. Pls see the program that we have designed below. If you would like to suggest us without hesitation do send us your feedback with what we have designed to make program a grand success. 
 
Day of Prayer and Action for Children                                
A glimpse of the Program
1.      Theme of the program – Violence Against Children
2.     Name and nature of the program – Conference, Media mobilization, Talk, Interaction, Meditation and Interfaith Prayer
3.     Number of Program – 4 programs
A.    Interaction and Awareness - Hindu Vidyapeeth-Nepal School (Students from various faith and diversity) on 18th November, Friday
B.     Inter-faith Prayer - Shanti Sewa Ashram (Involving main 7 faith based and secular organization) on 18th November, Friday
C.     Song, Poem, Art Competition - in 4 different places (Schools and Orphanages) on 19th November, Saturday
D.    Youth Conference - Youth Society for Peace (involving students and youth from various faith and school/college) on 20th November, Sunday
4.     Duration of each program – 3 to 7 hours

Nov 18th, Friday 
- Interfaith program/lighting lamps/prayers/Satsang in Ashram in the evening
- Interaction program about DPAC in Hindu Vidyapeeth-Nepal School with grade 7, 8
  and 9
 
Nov 19th, Saturday
- Program (poems, songs, prayers) with children of Seeds of Peace in Ashram
- Program (poems, songs, prayers) with children of Aasana Child Rehabilitation Centre   
  (Orphanage) in Lamatar
- Program (poems, songs, prayers) with children of Children Peace Home in Dang
- Program (poems, songs, prayers) with children of Sunrise (orphanage) in Gokarna
 
Nov. 20th, Sunday
- Inter Faith conference regarding DPAC in a suitable hall
- Talk programs about DPAC in other schools/colleges too
- Informing/networking and motivating other organizations to celebrate DPAC at their   own places
-Mobilization of media
 
11.    Involvement of government agencies – Ministry of Education and Ministry of Women & Children
Note – This is a tentative proposal which will be modified with further discussion and consultation with concerned people and will be reported finally after the completion of the program.
